Happy Birthday Rosanna

June 26th, 2009 by Steph

Today is Rosanna’s birthday. Whenever it’s someone’s birthday around here, we surprise them with a cake and a nice card from everyone in the studio. Today’s surprise was bit different than the past ones. Before Rosanna arrived we all turned off the lights and locked the front door, (I also taped the light switch down). While she was trying to unlock the door and turn on the light we burst out in song holding her birthday cake! Not so bad for spicing up the birthday surprise, eh?! Happy Birthday, Rosanna! If you get a chance be sure to wish her a good one.

Catching Up….

May 28th, 2009 by Steph

A lot has happened since our last update, we’ve been quite busy. Our sincerest apologies for falling so behind with the blog.

Earlier this month we all attended a gallery opening with some of my work being exhibited at Bakehouse Art Complex. Student Volunteers were rewarded with a space at the Swenson Gallery, and it was such an exciting opportunity to show some of my latest work. Everyone here at Thirdeye was so supportive. One of my pieces sold too! Here are some pictures of my art

Bowling and Sushi

December 18th, 2008 by David

Everybody!

Last night was Thirdeye’s annual Christmas Party. This time around we went to the brand new Splitsville bowling alley in South Miami. The interior was very fancy and the food was amazing. We had sushi, shrimp, burgers, cookies, and other goodies throughout the night.

Our big group was divided into 2 lanes, so we made a nice competition of the evening. Take a look at the slideshow for moments such as bowling faces and debating scores. A good time was had by all.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night. We’re honored to have you in our professional and personal lives.

Happy Belated Halloween

This entry is a bit overdue (19 days, to be exact). But I wanted to make sure you all saw these special Thirdeye cupcakes that our very own Steph baked and prepared for us. And yes, they were delicious.

I’ll try to stay on top of these holiday related entries from now on.

In fact, according to HolidayInsights.com, today is Have A Bad Day Day. So in attempt to reconcile for our failed attempt at wishing you a wonderful Halloween… I want to wish you and your loved ones a bad day. Cheers!

Toon Time

September 29th, 2008 by David

Our good friend and illustrator Chris Meesey created a series of Thirdeye staff caricatures. The whole office was cracking up when we saw these. Be sure to check out his portfolio and blog as well. Great stuff!

Helping Haiti

September 19th, 2008 by David

Two weeks ago, Hurricane Ike was headed directly to us in Miami. Hours before landfall, its directions shifted southbound and barely missed the lower half of Florida. Unfortunately, Haiti was devastated with flooding and many people have been left without food and shelter. In light of the recent damaged caused by Hurricane Ike, we at Thirdeye felt compelled to help our neighbors in need.

When we heard that City of Miami Fire Stations were accepting donations for Haiti, we headed over to Sam’s Club and purchased some non-perishable food items for them to send over. Our donation also included soap and diapers for the Haitian children affected by the tragedy. We hope the best for our neighbors and look forward to the bits of good news as the country recovers from her recent woes.

Thirdeye Goes to B-Live Miami

May 21st, 2008 by David

While the rest of the Miami audience was enjoying the sights and sounds at B-Live Miami 2008, we were busy working behind the scenes. But all work and no play makes Thirdeye a dull crew. So we made sure to play.

Highlights included seeing our graphics displayed in front of hundreds of concert-goers, great live music, delicious food, and a job well done by all. Our favorite performance of the night: Groove Armada.

Now that we’re at the post-production stage of the project, we get to hear all the great music over and over again. So if you happen to pass by our office, don’t be surprised if you see a lot of heads bobbing and toes tapping. Enjoy the (music free) slideshow above.
